Pepita was founded by second and third generation family members dedicated to continuing a legacy of philanthropic giving, in new and disruptive ways. The interests and backgrounds of our team are varied, however we each share an urgency to dismantle the very systems that brought us here and a desire to radically reimagine the purpose and practice of philanthropy.
We envision a global reality in which community leaders are resourced to create equitable, just and ecologically-sound societies where everyone can thrive.

My role with Pepita is the marriage between the early lessons of social responsibility and the impact of white supremacy in all of our lives, and my work within the nonprofit world. As part of a team of radical funders, Pepita's mission aligns with my personal passions as we all are committed to dismantling systems of oppression.
